Why I Support electHER Now

“Achieving parity requires--among many other things--redefining social attitudes about women’s ‘appropriate’ role within local politics. Municipal politics is a great career choice for women who want to pursue a long-term career in politics: be it at the local, provincial or federal levels. But none of it is set up to see women succeed in politics.

Being part of electHER Now means I get to help demystify what it means to run, win and succeed as a municipal councillor for all women, no matter their personal political leanings. I am so proud to be part of this organization, and I look forward to hearing the glass ceiling smashing in 2022.”
