“From the moment that I earned a ‘seat at the table’ I wanted to support more women to run. I believe that having diverse life experiences at council leads to better decision making for our entire community.

In my inaugural term as a municipal councillor in West Grey, electHER Now helped me grow my connections with women leaders across the region, enabling me to be my best at council, to be inspired, and to stay energized.

Returning to school means I won't be running for re-election in 2022, but I remain committed to electHER Now's ambitious goal to reach gender parity by 2030 and am eager to share my experience, networks, and support for women to run and thrive at council.”
